House of Prayer Preschool - Closed May 31, 2024
We are sad to announce that we have permanently closed House of Prayer Preschool as of May 31, 2024.
In 1966, members of House of Prayer discerned a need for a ministry that would provide for the needs of families in the neighborhood serving specifically children who were 3, 4, and 5 years old. Over those 58 years, the shape of the program has shifted and changed to adapt to teaching methodologies and the needs of families.
We give thanks for the many teachers, leaders, and directors who have shaped House of Prayer Preschool through the years. We give thanks for the many children whose lives were shaped by their learning, relationship-building, and experiences as participants in House of Prayer Preschool. We give thanks for this congregation that has prioritized space in this building and resources of time, talent, and treasures of members and staff to continue to operate House of Prayer Preschool.
